The idea behind this novel, and the rest in it's series, is to share my stories and experiences as a student of Government College Umuahia, from 2001 to 2007. I want to safeguard our traditions and principles in the pages of these books. My hope is that as we work on the ongoing restoration project, we won't only restore buildings, we will also restore and, where necessary, review and reform the school traditions and practices that made us the men we are today.
My contribution to our restoration won't just be telling my stories though, it will also be financial. That is why I have pledged to donate 10% of all of the revenue from the sales of all the books in this series to our restoration project. This is not a one time donation, it is a donation I intend to make forever; so 10% of every single copy of these books purchased anywhere, at any point in time, will be sent to Umuahia.
